That's a great question and good topic for a post. I'd evaluate your current state. Who are you now? Who do you wish to be? What is holding you back from becoming that version of self? Why are you allowing those things to hinder your growth? What are you scared of? The answer to the last question is the starting point in the journey.
I’m on a journey through the dark night of the soul, says my psychologist. Healing my inner child. Learning about being a human. Recovering from a stroke of 6 months ago. Grieving the loss of my husband in 2017, and other things I’ve become aware of recently. Learning to navigate my emotional landscape. So much stuff. Exhausted from all of it.
I completely understand. I went through a dark night of the soul a year and a half ago and it was quite possibly the most painful period of my life. An ego death is not only dramatic but highly traumatic. Know that there is light at the end of the tunnel though it seems dim right now. The silver lining is that on the other side of this is a version of you so glorious, so healed, and so well balanced you’ll actually look back and be grateful for the experience. Hang in there.
Thanks, I’m looking forward to feeling tiny healed self. For me, it’s almost as if I’ve dipped my toes in a few times but wasn’t “all in” (I’m learning about avoidance). I needed to hear this, thank you!
I have never been intentional on 11/11 - this is my first year being "in tune" spiritually. I took a few minutes this morning to meditate, visualizing activating my chakras, and wrote down my intention 10 times. It's something I learned from a magick book - very simple, so simple that we often forget to do it!
That's all my way of saying: Thank you for the reminder.
One of my favorite bands, Pinegrove, released an album called 11:11. They're very thoughtful, it's like literature rock. A little poetry, a little nature, a tiny bit country. It's worth listening to today.
How can I fortify my self concept?

“M” healed self - typo!

Exactly. You don’t have to do anything dramatic today but just taking time be intentional about what you want to create with lead to powerful results.
